Our story

Paradigms is a platform conceived by Li-Lin Teo, a Singapore trained lawyer who accidentally discovered a love for looking and writing about art while in London exploring its museums. Holding a Masters in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, Li-Lin has been writing about art since 2013.

Our ethos

We believe that words matter. Words can form a bridge between a work of art and its viewer, enhancing the appreciation of the art. We believe that art appreciation connects a viewer to bigger ideas and concepts and stimulates reflection and responses unconstrained by limitations in reality, rigid thought strictures or dogma. It is an ultimately freeing endeavour.
